Arnold Mills United Methodist Church is committed to carrying God's love and grace beyond the church walls. In our local community, we regularly provide financial, material, and volunteer support to mission projects and service organizations. We also support youth and other church members as they participate in regional, national and international missions. Join us!
- Help plant, harvest, and deliver vegetables at Franklin Farm Community Garden. Produce is donated to local food banks and feeding programs. This is a family friendly volunteer activity that takes place from May through September.
- Deliver baked goods from Dave’s Market all year long to local shelters and food pantries including the Northern RI Food Pantry, Progreso Latino in Central Falls, and the Salvation Army in Pawtucket.
- Help prepare meals and serve them to the homeless through the Meals in the Park program.
- Partner with The Kitchen Ministries Program to furnish kitchen needs such as small appliances, dishes, glasses, utensils, etc., for families transitioning from the shelter to independent living.
- Team up with Habitat for Humanity. If you're handy (or want to learn!), join us at our local housing project located in Woonsocket. We help out once a month on site helping to build a new house for a local family.
- Help collect supplies for the shelter for women and children in Woonsocket.
- Help make the holiday bright for a needy family by purchasing gifts for the local Adopt a Family program.
